A safety ride is transportation by car that arrives at your pickup location and drops you off at your destination.

Our foundation is funded through private donors and crowdfunding campaigns. When we receive donations, they go directly to providing rideshare codes for our sponsored members. 

These rideshare codes work the same way as a discount code does and equals one free Revel ride.

These codes are distributed on a monthly bases.

The Safety Ride Project currently operates in the 5 borrows of New York City and northern New Jersey. Our organization aims to expand our footprint to aid folks across the country and internationally.

We are committed to providing eco-friendly transportation, which is why we have chosen to work exclusively with Revel’s all-electric fleet. Revel is a rideshare service that only operates in NYC and New Jersey.

The Safety Ride Project was designed for working class  transgender people, non-binary folks, and women in mind.

However, we accept application from any vulnerable person who would benefit from our services.

Each month, our advisory board assesses our applicants on a case-by-case basis. We aim to provide as many resources as we can and will always do our best to serve everyone who applies.
