About The Safety Ride Project

The Safety Ride Project aims to provide safe, accessible, reliable transportation to and from work for women and trans people in the pursuit of workplace equity.

By adhering to our mission statement, The Safety Ride Project will reduce the possibility of violence, harassment, and unreliable transportation networks for women, girls, and trans people. Diminishing the barrier to a safe commute will benefit public safety and advance workplace equity, simultaneously.

The backbone of our mission is to remain optimistic for a better future. One where women, trans people, and every vulnerable person can get to work safely and reliably.
